Asbestos Re-Inspection Surveys

Trusted Asbestos Surveyors

Our fully qualified and experienced asbestos surveyors can carry out Asbestos Re-Inspection Surveys on a full range of properties throughout London, Surrey, and the South East.

All Asbestos Re-Inspection Surveys are designed to allow the duty holder to monitor all ACMs that have been identified in a building. These will be recorded on an asbestos register. This will ensure that the duty holder of any non-domestic premises complies with regulations set out in the Control of Asbestos Regulation 2012.

All ACMs should be re-inspected for monitoring purposes every 12 months, and any asbestos register should be updated. Our team is accredited by UKAS, which means that you can have peace of mind that our work meets the most stringent requirements. We follow rigorous guidelines and use advanced protective equipment.

We can ensure that your business remains compliant and that all your asbestos information is kept up to date.

Why do you need an Asbestos Re-Inspection Survey?

Like all materials, ACMs will degrade over time and potentially become a health hazard. Therefore, all ACMs must be inspected regularly to ensure that they are in a good condition and have not deteriorated since the last inspection. They will use the original Asbestos Management Survey or asbestos plan as a starting point.

All asbestos survey reports will:

  • Examine and assess your current asbestos records to ensure they are detailed enough or if there are any gaps in the data
  • Re-inspect the site to look at the condition of ACMs and to identify any changes
  • Review all asbestos control measures and any asbestos management plan to ensure it meets standards, including updating drawings or photos where necessary

Our team can take samples of all ACMs to be inspected in an accredited laboratory. This

will be able to identify whether they have deteriorated to such an extent that they have become hazardous.

If any ACMs have deteriorated during the time since they were last inspected, our asbestos surveyors will be able to offer advice and guidance regarding the next steps to ensure you achieve compliance. Options may include asbestos removals, asbestos encapsulation or managing asbestos in situ.

Our surveyors can help

Our experienced asbestos surveyors will ensure that you have an Asbestos Re-inspection Survey every 12 months as a minimum. We can provide a cost for re-inspection, as well as scheduling.

The cost of any Asbestos Re-Inspection Survey will depend on the size of the property and the amount and extent of ACMs found in the original survey.
